Zero to 524 — Terms of Service

Welcome to Zero to 524. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Taran Bryce Grove, a sole proprietor doing business as “Zero to 524” in the State of Nevada, United States (“Zero to 524,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the website at zeroto524.com and the Zero to 524 study application and services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, purchasing access, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility — you must be 18 or older

The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or delete the account.

2. Your account

• You sign up with an email address and password, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
• Notify us promptly at tarangrove@zeroto524.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. What the Service is

Zero to 524 provides MCAT study tools: an auto-generated, personalized study Roadmap and tools to track your study progress (chapter and drill completion, practice exam scores, and question-bank accuracy such as UWorld and CARS performance) against that Roadmap.

Important: Zero to 524 is an independent study-support tool. It does not host, provide, or reproduce third-party question banks, exams, or copyrighted preparation materials (including AAMC, UWorld, or other providers’ content). You track your own performance on those materials; you are responsible for obtaining and using them in accordance with their own terms.

4. Purchases, access, and extensions

• Access to the Service is sold as a one-time purchase of time-limited access (for example, a set number of months). This is not an auto-renewing subscription. We will not automatically charge you again when your access ends.
• If you need more time, you may purchase an extension for an additional period. Extensions are one-time purchases.
• Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe’s hosted checkout. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. The price in effect when you purchase governs that purchase.
• When your access period ends, your access to the Service stops. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

5. Refunds and the Score Guarantee

Except where required by law or expressly stated, purchases are non-refundable, other than through our Score Guarantee. The Score Guarantee is offered on its own specific terms — including completion requirements, a claim window, and required proof — set out in the Zero to 524 Score Guarantee Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

6. No guarantee of results (other than the Score Guarantee)

Your MCAT performance depends on many factors within your control, including the effort you put in. Other than the specific, conditional Score Guarantee, we make no promise or guarantee of any particular score, percentile, improvement, or admission to any school. Zero to 524 does not provide medical, admissions, or professional advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or provide access to your account to anyone else.
• Copy, scrape, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service or its content except as allowed by these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone’s rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Roadmap methodology, drills, text, design, and all related materials created by Zero to 524, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own MCAT preparation during your access period. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Not affiliated with AAMC

Zero to 524 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). “MCAT” and “AAMC” are trademarks of the AAMC. References to the MCAT, AAMC materials, or other third-party products are for identification and descriptive purposes only.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will always be available. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zero to 524 and Taran Bryce Grove will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zero to 524 and Taran Bryce Grove from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Score Guarantee Terms and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Zero to 524 regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
